MonitorCrew
HomeCCTV security and privacy

Controlled access, documented accountability and customer ownership.

Remote monitoring touches sensitive systems and personal data. Our model limits access to the assigned purpose and keeps cameras, recordings and policy decisions with the customer.

Security is designed into the operating relationship before monitoring starts. Technical controls must be matched by clear procedures: who may view a camera, what they may do, how footage is handled, how an incident is reported and how access is removed.

01

Customer-controlled video environment

Recordings remain in your VMS, NVR or selected cloud platform by default. MonitorCrew does not require ownership of your camera system and operators do not store footage locally unless a separately approved workflow requires an export.

02

Least-privilege operator access

Named accounts, multi-factor authentication and restricted roles should replace shared credentials. Your organization decides the cameras and functions available to each assigned operator.

  • Unique user identities
  • Only required sites, views and controls
  • Prompt access removal during offboarding
03

Controlled work practices

Company-managed workstations, confidentiality requirements, customer separation and documented incident procedures reduce operational risk around remote viewing.

04

Privacy-ready onboarding

We document processing roles, instructions, retention expectations, privacy masks and approved export rules with the customer. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and deployment, so they are reviewed for each engagement rather than assumed.

  • Support for customer data-processing documentation
  • Site and camera purpose review
  • Escalation path for privacy or security concerns
05

Transparent responsibility boundaries

MonitorCrew provides remote observation, verification, communication and reporting. Physical intervention remains with the customer’s local contacts, guards, patrols or appropriately licensed response partners.

Review security before sharing access.

Bring your IT, privacy or security questions to the conversation early. We’ll map them into the onboarding plan.
